The relationship that connects Valentino to the Eternal City renews itself through a new project with The Teatro dell’Opera di Roma: an exceptional edition of La Traviata conceived by Valentino Garavani and Giancarlo Giammetti in collaboration with Teatro dell’Opera and directed by Sofia Coppola in her debut as lyrical opera director.
Valentino Garavani will design Violetta’s costumes that will be crafted in the Valentino Maison’s atelier.
Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli, Creative Directors of Maison Valentino, will create the costumes for Flora and for the Chorus, in collaboration with the amazing Teatro dell’ Opera’s costume workshop.
The show will run for fifteen performances, from May 24th until June 30th, 2016, Rome.
