Fashion News:

Burberry, Stella McCartney and H&M have signed the accord with Ellen MacArthur Foundation

We are all aware of what and how much you damn coop provoking the global warming shuts to our ecosystem and than the use of the plastics is incisive, that is used  only for 90%, for then to become a material difficult to dispose it.

Many of us are directing to the use of material from I recycle or ecosostenibili and however all we are aware of this serious problem.

But what are making the houses of fashion to improve the environmental impact of their productions?

Burberry, Stella McCartney, and H&M signed the environmentally conscious New Plastics Economy Global Commitment spearheaded by the Ellen MacArthur Foundation, which works to minimize waste.

One of the goals of this commitment is to ensure all packaging by these companies can be safely recycled by 2025.

Burberry for instance aims to have all of its plastic packaging be reusable, recyclable or compostable.

The plan is, in 2019 alone, to eliminate individual shrink wrap, plastic lamination of retail bags and poly bags for garment covers, replacing it with bioplastic or reusable bags.

By removing plastic lamination of their bags, they end the production of 20 tons of plastic!
