AltaRoma paid homage to the great Italian couturier Renato Balestra, hosting a fashion show in Cinecittà conceived as an authentic tribute to the dean of Italian haute couture and at the same time as a general tribute to the true high quality Italian fashion.
Dreamy dresses, inspired by classic motifs, with sensual necklines and sparkling embroidery, contrasting aton sur ton, have paraded in Cinecittà, among the temples of ancient Rome that have been the background to many cult films, from the legendary Cleopatra with Liz Taylor up to Ben Hur.
In all 70 outfits that wonderfully tell the story of a dream begun in 1961, the year the company was founded. Applauded the clothes made in the classic and celebrated Blu Balestra, which makes this autumn / winter 2018 decidedly glamorous and sunny, rich in joie de vivre and femininity.
