Innovation, experimentation, originality and technology for contemporary urban clothes. The Academy of Fine Arts of Frosinone, in synergy with the Chamber of Commerce of Frosinone and Aspiin (Special Agency for the Internationalization and Innovation of the province), presents POP UP INTERFERENCES, a final multimedia project by the students of the Fashion Design Specialization Biennium, crowning their course of studies.
Part of the ALTAROMA January 2018 calendar, the project is based on concepts by Greta Ardizzoni, Samantha Caponera, Gloria Cerroni, Mahnaz Ebrahimi, Giovanna Fiore, Roberta Evangelisti, Antonella La Grasta, Clarice Honey, Liliya Marinova, Claudia Minna, Carmen Moffa, Valentina Neccia, Sharon Pacitto, Chiara Rossi, Alessia Tomei, Junying Wu.
The garments in the Pop Up collection are narrated through interferences in formal evolutions, while the interference of disparate colors breaks the linearity in the shades of gray of the outerwear.
Unpredictable sartorial constructions invade geometric lines, leaving space for new, threedimensional shapes that draw graphic silhouettes through the new 3D printing and Laser cut technologies.
Urban and contemporary clothes, three-dimensional and sustainable in their reproducibility, leave room for interaction and change, for the possibility of narrating a gesture through technology or human interaction.
