Fashion News:

Rupert Sanderson, less is more

His brilliant career began with a motorcycle trip from England to Italy in order to learn all the secrets to create a perfect shoe. After a very short time he was working in Italy, first for Sergio Rossi and then for Bruno Magli. Sanderson is very proud to have managed to work with the founders and families of both of these companies before they were bought by larger luxury goods companies, thus learning the meaning and the tradition of the Italian family-run company that has given so much to the Made in Italy brand. At the core of his design philosophy lies “less is more” avoiding overdressing the foot, he concentrates on perfecting line, volume and material to make womenfeel sexier. After launching his shoe brand in 2001, Rupert Sanderson designed the shoes for Karl Lagerfeld’s mainline catwalk collection.
