The sky turns dull blue as the leaves fall and a feminine, tempting charmer comes out the woods. She is the Luisa Beccaria Fall / Winter 2017 – 2018 woman. She is a free spirit mixing fabrics and shapes, blending mysterious “New Orleans” vibe with a decidedly neo-romantic mood. The signature leaves and shrubbery of Fall become prints, jacquard or laces on jumpsuits, chemisier-dresses and full skirts paired with mohair sweatshirts.
The collection is spotted with flared ruby flannel skirts embroidered with cross-stitch. Pastel chiffon dresses matches capes and tweed coats; or even jackets with houdstooth pattern or made with a twist of Shetland wool and gold threads. Precious fabrics embody evening attire for pantsuits and dresses.
Tulle and lace sparkle with metallic and iridescent effects; gold embroideries are finished with three-dimensional decorations. The silhouettes are at the same time structured and fluid, drawn by a mix of fabrics and laces.
