Absolutely unmissable in Dubai from 23 January 2019 to 31 March 2019 the exhibition "HERstory" organized at the Women's Museum in Dubai curated by Anna Barbara (teacher of the School of Design, Milan Polytechnic and founder of the SenseLab architecture firm) and Indu Varanasi (IR Design in Dubai) with Rafia Obaid Ghubash, the founder of the Women's Museum in Dubai.
An extraordinary project in collaboration with the School of Design, Polytechnic of Milan.
"HERstory" was born as a desire to meet extraordinary women, emiratine or residents in UAE (United Arab Emirates) and bring out the uniqueness and creativity that can arise from their interaction.
For this reason the story of "HERSTORY" was born about a year ago, talking with the founder of the Museum who spent an important part of her life in putting together pieces of this story to women in the history of her country from its origins to now. Then it continued with a sensory workshop, held within the Women's Museum in which the artists and founders put into practice a multi-sensory dialogue that included a comparison between reactions, sensations, emotions arising from color palettes, odors that opened scenarios of memory sometimes forgotten, from clouding of words and meanings.
