The Florentine Institute Polimoda and the Italian luxury fashion house Valentino join forces to create a 9-month training course dedicated to the "Leather goods" category. It will be active from next January and will deepen the study of production techniques and materials, merchandising strategy and collection planning.
The aim of the course is to train future protagonists of the fashion industry by combining creative approach and craftsmanship. The course also includes master classes, workshops and a brand-specific project in collaboration with Valentino, as well as visits to locations and production facilities in the Florentine territory. At the end of the master's program, placement in the company through internship contracts is also envisaged.
The companies daily request more specialized profiles, which are updated on production processes and methodologies as well as on the peculiarities of this market. For this reason the need for a dedicated Master was born.
Polimoda is not new to training partnerships signed with the big names in international fashion: among the most recent are those with Gucci (master in Fashion Retail Management), LVMH (Institute of Excellence Crafts for the leather goods sector), Ferragamo (master in Shoe Design) and Richemont (master in Luxury Business).
