Il Matrimonio dei Sensi is a unique exhibition-event and an invitation to reflect on the bridal world. Successfully created twenty years ago by Fabrizio Ferri's Università dell’Immagine and organised by Gabriella Giamminola, and will have a place of honour during Sì Sposaitalia Collezioni.
After its successful debut last year, Il Matrimonio dei Sensi is back to amaze buyers and suggest new ideas and curiosities. Sì Sposaitalia Collezioni is a lively and contemporary container capable of developing its own concept to meet the various needs of sector operators.
Il Matrimonio dei Sensi will be presented as a sort of Wunderkammer, a chamber of wonders, a box of curiosities where visitors can discover capsule collections, accessories, objects and dazzling digressions on the "not only white" theme. The bridal world seen with different eyes, from a different point of view. Special pieces which were specifically picked to reach beyond the ceremony itself and speak of style in a broader sense.
"I like creating synergies between magical worlds, seeking extraordinary objects and details for an extraordinary day. I like to surprise, amaze and charm through a search which is never banal and always eccentric", said Gabriella Giamminola. "Il Matrimonio dei Sensi is coquettish and capricious, and over the years has made a name for itself as the format that explores different worlds with a pinch of humour."
The poetic and extraordinary dissertations on the wedding dress (Sartoria Bassani, Antonella Rossi, Elisabetta Delogu, Poesie Sposa) and attention to the "after-dress" with lingerie made by Annagiulia Firenze and Elisabetta Delogu's "Gioco" capsule collections. Le Gioconda celebrates the craftsmanship of women. The all-cashmere line (also on the dress) by Rêve Energétique and magical bags either hand-painted or made with Venetian fabrics made on ancient looms by Daniela Bentivoglio. Gerla Fedi is introducing 120 modern interpretations of wedding rings alongside Cristina Bombardi precious creations. On the beauty front, make-up, hair styles and beauty strategies from head to toe by Beautick and magnetic and imaginative manicures by Jaia Fashion Art Studio. Blooming Officinali offers a skincare line made with organic herbs grown in Sardinia. Anaïs Atelier puts the spotlight on decoration with flowers and plants which do not wilt or wither. An illusory nature arranged to create emotions.

But the bride is not the only protagonist of the big day. Sartoria Uomo Sanvenero has suits for the groom, while for children, who play a key part in the ceremony and have become special guests, we have total-white prams made by Inglesina, outfits either coordinated with the bride or not made by Atelier Kore and dreamy footwear by Sonatina. Chapeau Flambé has imaginative hats for heads held high.
In the lounge corner open to meet, chat, share and exchange emotions and impressions T'a Milano will be organising an irresistible chocolate tasting event accompanied by the wines of Wine&Wedding, that also offers wedding ceremonies in the vineyards.
