For the Men’s Spring Summer 2017 collection designer Giuseppe Zanotti fashions a new mood that champions personal style, crafting a series of loafers, sandals and sneakers that defy conventions.
“Men’s fashion has evolved so much that there are no more rules,” says Giuseppe Zanotti. “Men take more risks and experiment with their individual style. There’s a fluidity to fashion today. There’s a freedom of expression.”
The collection comprising shoes, bags and special ready-to-wear pieces has been updated with the use of unexpected materials such as woven leather and washed silks in the hues of warm neutrals, light khaki and sand. Silhouettes are ultra-light and streamlined and refined decorative elements punctuate the collection.

Crystal embellishment, a Giuseppe Zanotti signature, is reworked to create a subtle yet graphic impact. A slip-on loafer in tan and beige python leather takes on an artful approach when covered in hundreds of micro crystals and stones.
Crafted traditionally by hand, woven leather is a recurring theme throughout the collection. The rich, artisan and highly resistant material is found on sandals, sneakers and loafers.
Silk satin takes on the same rebel spirit of denim when washed and distressed to expose frayed edges and tonal coloring. The material is used in an ombré effect on army green loafer with crystal hardware.
Thicker yet lightweight soles form a foundation of the sandal and moccasin designs. Combined with elevated materials, like suede or smooth calf skin and bolder hardware accents, the shoes are perfect from day to night.
The Spring Summer 2017 sneakers give a nod to contemporary cool. Designed in a mélange of natural materials in warm tones of beige, taupe and khaki green, the collection features both high, mid-top and low-top styles.
