Following the opening of the four-floor flagship located in London’s prestigious Mayfair shopping district, Elie Saab continues West this time across the Atlantic. With Ready-to-wear and accessories spread across two floors, Elie Saab opens its first US flagship store in New York City located at 860 Madison Avenue, a space that encapsulates the Elie Saab signature: a fusion of femininity, luxury and modernism.
The Madison Avenue boutique’s entirely refurbished, angular façade echoes furniture pieces and display modules inside in a seamless, rhythmic use of space.
A prominent mirror-polished inox wall, that deploys itself like a large ribbon, enhances a sense of movement within the store and effortlessly leads from one space to the other.
At the entrance, a modern display table fills the space under the central staircase finished in elegant Cremo Delicato marble with brass inserts, designed in form and function to bring together all the different aspects of the boutique’s overall aesthetics that encompass movement, fluidity, and discovery within every space.
On the first floor, a private salon and dressing rooms, each formed by petal shaped panels covered with uneven mirrors and walls are delicately upholstered with a greige coloured fabric. Again working with the architectural design agency RDAI, the best of the designer’s creative sensibilities are reflected in a space that sets a new course ahead.
