Falling in love with traditional bobbin lace from her native town in the Azores Islands at the age of 5, Susana Bettencourt has taken her studies at Central Saint Martins and the London College of Fashion with its strong digital techniques and fused them with her love of handwork.
The brand’s ultimate goal is to explore the synergy of new technology and the digital with traditional craft, as well as the synergy with her two homes – London and the Azores.
During the 46th edition of Portugal Fashion the brand has presented its AW 2020-21 collection in which the love for craftsmanship and the passion for applying to new technologies seem to be an explosion between fashion and passion, colors and trends, modernity and three-dimensionality.
The brand, season by season, conquers a greater number of consents both from the public and from the press, thus tracing an unstoppable success as one of the most interesting brands on the international scene.
