From the sketch to reality: the "Contemporary Baroque" collection is a journey to discover the magnificent Baroque Rome on the trail of Maestro Borromini. The intertwined domes and plants of San Carlo alle Quattro Fontane and Sant'Ivo alla Sapienza, with their mystical textures, meet the world of jewelry design entirely made in Italy.
Contemporary Baroque is a research collection that it is interpreted through two interpretations.
Baroque: the bold perspective effects and architectural virtuosity of a historical-cultural period that has revolutionized the physiognomy of the eternal city are transformed into precious, daring and deliberately far from the renaissance canons of harmony.
Contemporary: then as today, the Baroque placed spatial research at its center. A research that turns into a path where the final design becomes the only one possible.
Fascinated by the study of the geometry and the preparatory work of the great architect from Ticino and above all by his reinterpretation of classical forms in unique and unmistakable architectures, Co.Ro. is inspired by his main works: San Carlo alle Quattro Fontane and Sant'Ivo alla Sapienza.
And here the precious threads of earrings, rings and bracelets are intertwined following the pattern of their plants. The octagons, hexagons and crosses that make up the dome of San Carlo become a precious texture to be interpreted with craftsmanship.
