Piaget presents two timepieces for this holiday season with not one but two rows of sparkling diamonds on the external turning ring. Adorned with natural white mother-of-pearl dials and diamond indexes, these precious timepieces reflect the light in all directions in a dance resembling sunlight on powdery snow. The timepieces come in 18-carat rose gold cases available in two sizes – 29mm and 34mm. The 29mm version is set with 173 brilliant-cut diamonds (approx. 1.62 cts), while the 34mm model is enriched with 192 brilliant-cut diamonds (approx. 2.20 cts). Both include a half-moon set diamond and are fitted with practical interchangeable navy- blue alligator straps with 18-carat rose gold pin buckles.
Piaget’s Altiplano Ultimate Automatic is manufactured in the winter landscapes of La Côte-aux-Fées where the Maison’s watchmakers find the quiet and calm to concentrate on this very special ultra-thin 910P manufacture self-winding movement. They completely reimagined the construction of this timepiece, directly integrating the movement into the case back and replacing the traditional micro-rotor with an eye-catching blue PVD-coated 22-carat gold peripheral rotor, achieving record-breaking thinness and utmost elegance. The timepiece comes in a 41mm 18-carat white gold case set with 90 brilliant-cut diamonds (approx. 0.58 ct) and an elegant dark blue dial.
For the Altiplano Diamond Paved 35mm & 40mm timepieces, Piaget’s jewellers have found inspiration in the fields of snow around La Côte-aux-Fées with a bed of glittering diamonds that expand across the dial and case of each timepiece. Housed in 18-carat gold cases, the 35mm version is powered by the ultra-thin, 501P self-winding manufacture movement, and is adorned with 532 brilliant-cut diamonds on the dial (approx. 1.81 cts) and 68 brilliant-cut diamonds on the case (approx. 0.61 ct), while the 40mm model is fitted with Piaget’s ultra-thin 1200P self-winding movement and is paved with 630 brilliant-cut diamonds on the dial (approx. 2.54 cts) and 72 brilliant-cut diamonds on the case (approx. 1.00 ct).
