Fashion News:

Falke and the most expensive ever socks

Image

These plain tan socks may look pretty standard. But one pair will cost €1.288.

That's because the socks are made of vicuna wool. The vicuna is similar to an alpaca and lives in the Andes. They cannot be domesticated and the wool grows very slowly, so an animal may only be sheared once every 3 years. The Inca only allowed royalty to wear vicuna wool.

Vicuna wool is soft, warm and superbly delicate. It can't even be dyed.

Produced in limited edition by the german label Falke, for both men and women, are the most expensive ever socks.
