Great success for artistic perfumery, all over the world, but especially within the European Union, for tastes and culture that overshadow a little, preferring to buy more commercial products.
The European brands have a global turnover of around 600 million euros worldwide, with double-digit growth rates over the last five years (in Italy between 2014 and 2017, the figure is + 20%).
The rapid growth is matched by the change in the sector, which now sees on the one hand the brands that follow the traditional positioning, on the other hand some reference brands of niche perfumery that after the acquisition by the large conglomerates of cosmetics and fashion they have made an extraordinary dimensional leap.
