Known for the rigor in making interior design products inspired by the beauty of nature and made exclusively with natural materials, such as wood and cellulose fiber, the philosophy of the Finnish brand Woodnotes is anchored to a clear aesthetic vision, that of a minimalist, purist and eco-friendly design.
Founded in 1987 by Ritva and Mikko Puotila, Woodnotes has grown over the years starting with a collection of cellulose fiber mats, from which an increasingly global interior design concept has developed.
Today, 30 years after its birth, 70% of Woodnotes production is exported to more than 40 countries. The designers are Ritva Puotila, Harri Koskinen, Ulla Koskinen, Ilkka Suppanen, Raffaella Mangiarotti, Minna Ahokas, Tapio Anttila and Mia Cullin.
