Drawing creative inspiration from history and Renaissance iconography, transferring the suggestions of an era to contemporary environments, was the incipit that guided Luca De Bona, Dario De Meo and Matteo Ugolini in the creation of Gonzaga, the new suspension of Karman .
Inspired by the portraiture of princes and dukes, and in particular to the "motif" of ruff collar, but also to oriental-style atmospheres made of nodowa (the Japanese collarettes of metal lamellas) and wagasa (the traditional umbrellas), Gonzaga consists of a pleated metal shade that surrounds a blown glass diffuser and the LED light source, giving life to a lamp that seems to dance in space, with its minimal geometry and its scenographic dynamism made of lights and shadows that seem to chase each other to infinity .
The fixing mechanism allows to orientate the lamp as you wish, each time referring to eccentric late Renaissance or more intimate atmospheres and collected interiors of Japanese memory
Available in two sizes and two versions: white or black painted aluminum, or natural brass.
For indoor and outdoor environments: simply extraordinary!
