As part of its strategy aimed at strengthening presence within prestigious retail destinations, Prada is pleased to announce the opening of a new shoe boutique at Saks Fifth Avenue’s Fifth Avenue flagship in New York. To mark the opening, the shop will exclusively offer the Prada Made-To-Order Décolleté program within North America as well as house a selection of exclusive styles.
The new 65-square meter corner, designed according to Prada’s aesthetic principles and strong brand identity, is located on Saks Fifth Avenue’s 10022-SHOE (8th floor) and develops linearly, with velvet sofas arranged in front of Prada’s iconic green fabric-clad display niches. Steel and crystal tables and beige carpeting – a typical feature of Prada stores worldwide – complete the furnishing.
To celebrate the opening, Prada designed six special window displays, each a reflection of the Spring/Summer 2016 collection: a photo collage illustrating the multifaceted aspects of the world of Prada set against colourful, curved backdrops enveloping a staircase with wide, coloured carpeted steps.
The new Prada shop within Saks Fifth Avenue’s New York flagship provides a dynamic yet relaxed setting of great visual impact; an amphitheatre where the product is at the core.
