Oranges and Couture were an unusual couple upon arrival of ethical and sustainable fashion project "Orange Fiber", a natural fibre designed by fashion designer Caroline Adriana Santanocito, recovering the scraps that remain unsold every day to create a new eco-friendly fabric, in the name of recycling and respect of the raw materials.
The result is "Orange Fiber", an entrepreneurial project supported by Politecnico di Milano which led to get a procedure to extract the pulp from the fruit and lead it to spinning.
Finally, thanks nanotechnology were applied to clothes some microcapsules which release vitamins A, C and E to the skin.
